2024 Toyota GR Corolla Pricing

Toyota has unveiled its plans for the 2024 GR Corolla hot-hatch lineup, which includes introducing a new trim level. This new addition, known as the Premium trim, will be priced at $41,015. It's designed to bridge the gap between the entry-level Core trim and the returning Circuit trim levels.

The Premium trim brings several enhancements to the GR Corolla. It incorporates features from the Performance package, such as suede-trimmed seats, brake cooling ducts, and front and rear limited-slip differentials. This move is part of Toyota's strategy to expand the GR Corolla family for the 2024 model year. While the 200 Morizo editions from 2023 have been discontinued, the Circuit model, initially planned as a limited-run variant, will make a comeback in 2024. Toyota aims to provide buyers with a broader range of choices, with the Premium trim offering a middle ground between the Core and Circuit models.

Opting for the Premium trim not only includes the Core's features but also adds visual upgrades like suede-lined seats with the GR logo and red-painted GR brake calipers. It also incorporates performance enhancements from the Performance package, such as front and rear Torsen limited-slip differentials, brake ducts, and front and rear parking sensors. Additionally, the Premium trim offers creature comforts like an upgraded JBL sound system, wireless phone charger, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

As for the Circuit Edition, it takes the top spot in the lineup. It retains its distinctive features from the previous year, including flared hood nostrils, a forged carbon-fiber roof, side rocker panels, and a gloss black spoiler. In 2024, the Circuit Edition gets the forged aluminum 18-inch BBS wheels from the Morizo model as standard, reducing the Corolla's weight. Toyota also introduces a new blue paint option called Blue Flame, which comes with matching interior stitching on the shift knob and seats.

All three trim levels, including the Core, Premium, and Circuit, produce an impressive 300 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque from the GR's turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-three engine. This equates to an astonishing 185.4 horsepower per liter, a remarkable feat for a Corolla. Gazoo Racing has made several mechanical enhancements for the new model year, including adjustments to the steering gear, rear suspension, and battery ground, as well as aerodynamic improvements like adding aluminum sheets to the front and rear bumpers to optimize airflow.

Toyota is set to provide more options for customization with the introduction of additional GR performance parts later this year. Among the top offerings are performance lowering springs and performance shocks. Furthermore, the rear sport wing, previously exclusive to specific trims, will now be available as an option for both the Core and Premium trim levels.

In terms of pricing adjustments, there are only minor changes. The Core model's starting price has been increased by $200, now starting at $37,195. The new Premium model occupies a higher price point at $41,015, offering an enhanced set of features. At the top of the lineup, the Circuit Edition takes the lead with a new starting price of $45,835. These pricing variations allow customers to select a GR Corolla model that best suits their preferences and budget.
